Thought for a female audience, the design of the site makes extensive use of light/pink shades and bright colors as well as thin fonts, as can be seen on the home page (shown above). As the shop is a family business and products are still limited in number, it was possible to display categories directly without using some drop-down menu or similar solution.
The shopping cart is visible at any time in the upper right, and the addition of an item in the cart updates it while displaying a confirmation window (that disappears automatically after about 2 seconds).
The logo was part of the specifications. A script font type was used to give the logo a stylish, delicate and feminine appearance.
The brand name is framed by a distinctive symbol of Islamic art to highlight the fact that the products sold on the site are primarily intended for Muslim women.
The “Category” view shows the items belonging to the selected category in 4 columns.
